Valentines Day

For the most part, I am neither here nor there when it comes to Valentines Day. I never hated it while single and I sure wouldn’t say it is my most favorite holiday of the year now that I have been taken for over 5 years.
The best part of the day is that I get to spend it with the person I love. The main reason why I am impartial to Valentine’s Day is because Michael and I show each other love every day (or well I like to think so).
So this year we decided not to do presents and just went for a nice Greek dinner. We went to this tiny place near his house on 17th, called Spiro’s. I must say, I felt as if we dined with everyone else in the restaurant because it was so tiny and so packed! Like wall-to-wall tables! Off the bat, we did not get very good service (in fact Michael had to actually flag down a member of staff and ask who our server was, and she had no clue either – yes very irritating!!!!), but the food was excellent. Good portions and (after actually ordering) not long of a wait at all. If you ever go there you must try the cheesecake – it is to DIE for!
Oh another note, we are attending Armin Van Buuren in April at Flames Central. So I am super excited for that!
I’m sort of all over the place in this post… so please don’t mind me. :D
Onto the next… I have officially kicked off reading week. So I have a week to relax, or read, or study. I hope to relax quite a bit and try to kick this cold that has been lingering for (it seems like) forever!!

Here’s my 25 tid-bits.

I completed this on facebook and thought it was fun. Have a read and do one for yourself. 
1. I know most people would never guess it… but I’m half filipino. I travelled to the Philippines for the first time in May of 2005. It was not only an amazing experience, but such an eye opener.
2. A good few years from now, I will be a professional accountant and will be adding a designation to the end of my name on my business cards.
3. My worst fear is failure. In fact I think it is now more ambition because I work extra hard in order to succeed.
4. I can play the piano. I don’t play it as often as I would like to because of school, but I think it is the prettiest sounding of all instruments out there… when it is played correctly.
5. Michael and I have been dating for just over 5 and a half years. <3
6. I think Enrique Iglesias is very sexy.
7. I have a few close friends that know me the best, and I completely adore them!
8. I make wicked French Toast.
9. If I could wish for one thing in the world, it would be to not be allergic to dogs. 
10. I pulled straight A’s last semester.
11. I do my best to be green. I try to recycle where I can and I’ve switched mainly to natural skin products and make-up.
12. I want to learn a second language. That will be a goal of mine once I am finished my designation.
13. Since I have been in school forever, I definitely haven’t seen enough of the world.
14. I have two favorite teddy-bears now that have permanent residence on my bed, Huggy and Winston.
15. I have an undergrad degree in Political Science from the University of Calgary.
16. I want to volunteer more.
17. It has been brought to my attention that my hair is one of a kind. If you’re trying to pick me out of a room… look for my hair.
18. If I leave my house, my earphone’s are in and I am listening to music until I reach my destination.
19. I cannot wait to start the next stage of my life.
20. I have a strict rule of not making my bed on Sundays. Mainly because that is my “lazy day at home “day”. Every other day, Mon-Sat, I am very strict when it comes to my bed, it has to be made in order for me to officially start my day.
21. I have recently become addicted to Tony Roma’s Ribs. Or as I would say… wwwibs!
22. I am in love with order and consistency. (Maybe it’s my inner accountant)
23. I’m a girl that actually enjoys playing video games.
24. I am a part of Team Longinus!! And we totally love ice skating!
25. I am so very happy with my life and everything in it. To everyone that has made a difference in my life, has thought about me and made me feel special, Thank-you. I love you.
